Now, there is a whole backstory with this hike. It is focused around how last year, my trip to hike Mt Ellinor was cancelled due to the trail being closed, due to "overly aggressive mountain goats". I learned this past June that Frank hiked the trail last summer, and encountered a goat so aggressive that he called the park service, and they shut the trail for the rest of the season! So Frank owed me a trip up Mt Ellinor.
