Waking up early in the morning before Mr. Ranger Bear can give us a stern lecture for not paying for a campsite. It's a foggy misty morning. Rather pleasant provided you have enough warm clothes. Jay disassembles our tent in the background.

Ye olde Hubba Hubba...what a fantastic tent. A Brazilian that we met in El Chalten and later in Calafate had a horrible experience in Torres del Paine. His rented tent didn't hold up to the weather. He shivered in a wet and cold tent alone most of the nights.

I had forgotten about that guy! Yeah, the Hubba Hubba was a solid tent. What tent did you guys end up buying? We decided we didn't need anything this hardcore for California. I was considering a Bibler single wall but they were too expensive.

We ended up not buying one. I probably should have just bought a half dome when they were on sale, but wasn't sure what would be the best overall. I remember really liking the hubba hubba though, and they have one with more screens that looks like it would be better for summer but worse for shoulder seasons.
