Waiting at the border crossing into Chile. This was a smart move on our part: by entering Chile by land, we got in for free. As American citizens entering by air, we would be charged a 130 USD fee. As luck would have it, when we arrived at the border, it was the customs workers' lunch break. So, we sat around for an hour or so and snapped pictures (Jay found an impressive looking rooster strutting around nearby) and waited for border crossings to resume in the afternoon.
