I decided to go take a short hike to the next mountain closer while Jay rested and watched the view. Interesting, they had a sign denoting that from this point forward, it was backcountry, and therefore no regular ranger patrols. Neat! I can say I've hiked the Patagonian backcountry now. Ha.
