The church steeple of Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral inside the Peter and Paul fortress. This is the same fortress that was built by Peter The Great to defend against the Swedes, but who he defeated before it was completed. It was later turned into a prison and is where Dostoevsky, Trotsky, and many others were detained. Peter the Great tortured his son Alexei to death here. But, that part was closed for rennovation so I didn't get to see it.
