Monica's cheek post-injury. Monica face-planted on a trail just before lunch on Lookout Mountain at Northstar. Luckily Mrs. Drewes was only a few feet behind Monica when it happened and was able to flag down ski patrol. Monica got a ride to the bottom of the mountain in a sled, and got to cut the lift line to get to the ski patrol hut. The ski patrol was nice, I guess, but it was infuriating how much information and time they needed before they could just give her simple things like an ice pack and an advil. After almost an hour, they finally delivered an ice pack, which was snow inside a zip-lock bag. No kidding.
