So, after we tired ourselves out, we surfed one last wave back to the beach and hauled our surfboards up on dry land. I was particularly pleased as I had accidentally left my watch on my beach towel, and when I returned two hours later, it was sitting in the exact same spot. I also then later left my t shirt at the surfboard rental stand, and it was also there. Yay for good luck.
