At some point between slapping mosquitoes and cursing the lack of affordable eating options, Jay and I spied a few norms on the parapet of a lighthouse. Figuring it was going to cost us at least a Jackson for the privilege of gazing upon the flatlanders from such a vantage point, we decided to check out the price tag for amusement. Instead, it was only a few coppers and moments later we found ourselves climbing the whirling staircase, a bit out of breath, trying to make it to the top to see the sunset.
