I managed to pull out my Lonely Planet guidebook while walking with Jay through the Plaza de Independencia at just the moment when a young hotel employee very proud of our English was passing by. She asked us imploringly if we were lost, or knew where we were going. I tried to explain that I was just trying to look up a restaurant for later, but first we were on our way to the Torres Garcia museum. All but the basics were lost in translation and she insisted that if we were hungry, we should visit this mobile roach coach because it was "very clean" and that we wouldn't get sick. No mention of what the food was like. Not exactly a ringing endorsement, so we never tried the place. Mostly it looked like you could get simple hamburgers and "panchos" (hot dogs) for about $1. The typography and signage is pretty good looking though.
