In Monica´s dad´s village, we were given bowls of honey from the village beehives to try. Just plain honey. Apparently it sells for $40 USD per jar in Seoul. And it was worth every penny. Some of the best honey I´ve ever had, intensely floral. Must be from the persimmon trees. I´ve never tasted anything like it.
