I only took this picture to illustrate a business concept I had last seen in Cambodia: phone booths for the 21st century: People who run little mobile phone rental stands where you can use a phone (typically on a wallet chain) by the minute and pay the proprietor for your usage. Depending on your location and time of day, rates vary from about 7-15 cents per minute. Since I did not have a working cellular phone I made use of these stands many times, mostly to call my guide to talk about our never-ending billing saga.
