One more shot of the stupid Waugh Lake dam around sunset. On the way back, I stuck to the trail for a change of scenery. When I got to this point, I met a group of 11 backpackers that looked like they were all one family (Mormons?). They explained they were trying to get to the far end of Waugh Lake to camp before nightfall. I recommended cutting across the lake bed to save time and they were quite thankful for the tip, which probably shaved 20-30 minutes off their hike.
