I'd love to study a good topo in this area (I'm still off the edge of the map I had purchased on Monday at the rangers' office). Reason being, Google's topological maps don't even show a lake here, and this glacier seems to almost look like it is drowning in a lake that maybe didn't use to be here. Just a hunch. Next time I have access to a good topos I'll look it up.
