Now I decided to sit down, take my pack off, rub some sunscreen on my burnt calves (Monica, now you know why I have that ridiculous tan line around my ankle!) and drink some water and have a snack. I picked this place because I loved the cross sectional view of the glacier I was afforded from here. That little dark hole was intriguing as well because it appeared to be a cave of sorts, an opening into a crevasse somewhere in the glacier.
