Iceberg Lake, at 12,600 ft was the other place we were considering camping. Upper Boyscout Lake, where we ended up camping instead, is just over the ridge at the left middle-ground, but about 1,300 feet lower in elevation, which meant there was vegetation and it was probably 6-10 degrees warmer at night, not to mention easier to breathe, and therefore sleep.
