Joel, preparing for our ascent of Mt. Russell. Our camp is at the right; where we put our food to keep it away from critters at the left. Still, everything needed to be in a bear-resistant container in the Whitney Zone, despite the fact that it was unlikely a bear would come all the way up to 11,300 feet where our base camp was situated.
