Some rafters make their way down the Colorado. A stretch of rapids started just about where we were sitting, so we got to see some of the action as they passed. Andy says there is not a settlement on the river for at least a hundred more miles, maybe at Havasupai. Sounds like fun, but I hear commercial tours run about $6k per person.
