Mike stands on shore while Joel hunts for the next rappel. Sadly the narrows of Kolob Canyon were over far too soon! The sunshine in the distance foreshadowed our hot, sweaty hike out, carrying dry suits, fleeces and wet gear. We had been told this was a very challenging canyon, yet since the conditions were good and our teamwork was well-honed, we accomplished the technical descent of Kolob Canyon in just over three hours.
