Just about there! This rappel was a little challenging because it required dropping into a first pool (pictured), then swimming on rappel to the edge and then dropping into a second pool 40 feet below this one. The challenge came in managing the rope as it would end up chafing on a sharp rock. Unfortunately, we managed to give the rope a "core shot" - that is wear the protective shealth of the rope enough such that the load-bearing core became visible. Thus, this rope was no longer safe, and unfortunately it was almost exactly in the middle of the rope. So, now Andy has 2 ropes of half the original length, and we had to use some extra knots and techniques in order to avoid using the damaged section of the rope.
