After all that, we were hungry and went to "Arthur Avenue" in the Bronx (about 1/2 mile away) and had pasta in Little Italy at a very pleasant European-feeling restaurant ...Dolce Amaro which means Bitter Cake (I think). It was yummy, and because it took them about 10 minutes (and a trip down the street to their pastry shop) to process our credit card, they gave us a cannoli and some other sweet to take home. Nice people ... wonderful day.
