*insert splashy, gushy water noise* The big line of whitewater comes from an abandoned dam that was part of the power plant that is to the left and is currently out of service. I don't think about it too much, but apparently it's just under the water a few feet, with a larger opening in the middle for the tourist boats (which is why general motorcraft are not allowed on the lake).
