One of the most memorable aspects of Navajoland for me was what we called the "gallon in 30 minutes challenge". Not milk; just water. But still enough to make many toss their cookies (water?) just shy of victory. The rules were that it has to stay down after 30 minutes are up, and no going to the bathroom. Elloitt figured out how to beat us at our own game by spending 30 minutes running around the house at noon, while periodically drinking water. I think he won $10. He was the only one.
