  • A comment on religion. Although you would presume that the Catholic Church would have a prominent role, they do not. We were told that the church always seemed to be on the wrong side of every revolution or change. I would guess that over half of the churches in Havana have been converted to other uses. We had a very interesting lecture on the subject.
