Spirit Lake, as viewed from the Boundary Trail. During part of the activity, the water of Spirit Lake was pushed up the far banks 800 ft (vertical!). The receding water dragged thousands of downed trees into the lake. About a third of them are still there, and shift around the lake with the winds.
