Near the launching dock was a very sad pier that was badly damaged in the 1992 Iniki Hurricane. Supposedly there is a nice coral reef (with sharks!) growing on a big chuck of the pier that fell into the water.

I thought it was a really pretty pier, and really sad how damaged it was. I'm curious to know what it looked like immediately after the hurricane, and how much of this damage came in the twenty years since.
