The waterfall is supposedly 1600 ft, total ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Otter_Falls_%28Washington%29 ), but only about 500 ft can be seen from the bottom. I liked that it was not free-falling, but was running down the rock.

Wikipedia says it "drops" 1600ft, which makes me think vertical.
