My first peek at Otter Falls. I found the trail by searching for the best waterfall hikes in western Washington - this was the winner for the Central Cascades ( http://www.wta.org/go-hiking/seasonal-hikes/spring-destinations/waterfall-hikes ). (Stupidly, I did not read the description -- http://www.wta.org/go-hiking/seasonal-hikes/hikes/taylor-river -- thoroughly enough to realize that another half-mile of hiking would have taken us to the Big Creek falls, too (and another bridge). D'oh! Guess I have to go back...).
