This is were the construction of this bridge gets even more incredible. Each of the wire bundles has a specific place in the big cable. After the wire has been run up, down, around, up, and down again, it needs to be put into its specific place in this deviator saddle, which loops the cable around from the north side of the bridge, under the deck, to the south side.
