Monica at the top of the third and final pitch of Junior High (5.6). It was really windy at the top, but not too cold: in the upper 50s F. Fun birthday climb! Also, nice new backpack! Also, no joke, a few minutes later a car pulled up at the turn-out above Monica's hand, unpacked the kids and the sleds and then started sledding on the 6.5 feet of patchy snow that is the most snow that you can see in the photo. I think Monica almost starting crying out of pity for the children.
