Are the dots of light on the mountainside campsites?

You know, I noticed that while compiling the photo. There weren't any lights visible at the time and there aren't any places to camp or any real likelihood there'd be a perfectly stationary light at those places, especially so late at night. If you saw this scene in the daytime it would make sense. Maybe it's sensor noise?
