I don't get ratings in Yosemite. This pitch was 5.7, and the climb was 5.9, though I've even seen it rated at 5.10a, but it felt more like 5.6, except for the last part which was maybe 5.7 or 5.8. Hmm... how bad could Central Pillar of Frenzy be? :-D

Yeah, I agree they are all over the map. I thought the Battle of the Bulge felt like a 5.10 but it was only 5.8? I guess it could be 5.8 C0 :) I am down for CPoF! I hear it is nothing but fun...a stellar crack. I have been studying the Tuolumne guide (my "blemished copy" came in with no blemishes at all), and I have a long list of wanna-climbs.

Yeah, I'd like to go back for a rematch with BotB though I guess it's unlikely I'll get there this year. I've been trying to work on my crack skills a lot since August. The gym near my work has a whole wall of cracks of different widths and steepnesses. I wish the one near my house had that. They have 3 cracks: medium hard; really, really hard; and impossible.
