So, I sort of messed up in estimating exactly which direction we should head to hit the trail, and ended up one ridge over from where I thought I was. The upshot was we got a nice very of the Valley from a prominence above Indian Creek. Monica was a little cheesed off at this point, but I really don't think it actually cost us very much time. We didn't have to backtrack or lose any elevation... we just added a little distance which was probably OK for such a nice view.
