Since we had finished before our cut-off time of 2pm, I somehow convinced Monica to take the "scenic" walk-off descent: i.e. three hours of bushwhacking followed by three tired hours of hiking on NPS trails past Yosemite Point and Yosemite Falls. The alternative had been to rappel 11 times down the entire face and I thought it sounded boring and too easy.
