Lunchtime at the bivy ledge at the top of Royal Arches. There was even a natural spring welling up from the ground so we took the opportunity to refill our canteens which were completely empty thanks to the heat and strong sun.

Haha. Yep. Part of the deal in convincing Monica to come on my crazy bushwhacking adventure was I would carry both ropes and all the gear. It held up just fine for 6+ hours of hiking!
