Storms roll in over the high country in the background. It was definitely not warm on Friday! We saw Mt. Dana covered with fresh snow. So much for summer. I think it lasted about 3 weeks this year. It started roughly when Jay and I went to Tuolumne, and ended in early September when it started to rain and snow for almost a week. Many of the potholes in the dome were brimming with rainwater and the rock was covered in fine grit, washed down by the rain.
