Jay and I arrived in Rainier around mid-morning, and finally got out onto the trail at 11:15 or so. We started on the Rampart Ridge Trail, accessible from the Longmire camp just inside the Nisqually entrance (SW corner). As a note - those aren't clouds through the trees.
