I read an article in Alpinist last night about rock climbing routes on the southern face of Half Dome. There's a route called Southern Belle 5.12d R that has only seen a few ascents in almost 25 years, including one that included an 80 foot slab fall and 2 broken ankles. The article is definitely worth reading if you have it.
