The next few hours were spent hiking furiously fast and swatting mosquitoes. We ended up missing our intended campground in the dark and as a result ended up hiking all the way to Little Yosemite Valley Campground. When we showed up our neighbors were welcoming and invited us to join them at their fire. We found a nice level camping spot and "threw down" and made dinner and then went to the river to soak feet.
