I forgot to bring my camera Saturday, which was too bad since Monica and I climbed a very unique climb called Lover's Chimney, incidentally the first climb ever documented at Lover's Leap, in 1949. The route actually went through a cave, remerging maybe 60-70 feet higher on the wall. We didn't need headlamps, though Monica thought they might have helped. This is Sunday morning, warming up on the Groove (5.8). It was steep and sustained and definitely woke me up. Monica's blue helmet is barely visible, 100 feet below, as she gears up for the first pitch.
