Yeah, so here's the issue: the way JPEG is stored, you have to completely re-write the file and lose quality if you save the file as a rotated image of the original. I think newer cameras include rotation information in the metadata so that clients will know to rotate them, but I don't think this is part of HTML so it won't happen in a web browser. Also I don't think my camera has a rotation sensor. The better solution might be to create another zoom level before clicking through to see the actual file. Sigh, this website has been long in the tooth for a while now.
