There are 36 panels - 235 watts each - for a total 8.46kWatt system. The power company pays (at the moment - it changes all the time) $ 2/w or $ 16,920. This comes from a fund created by a $ 3.19/mo charge on every electric bill. Interestingly - the monthly charge comes out of our after tax $s, but when I receive it from TEP - it is taxable income to me. BTW - aren't the mountains in the background pretty?
