Attempt number 3: Monday night. Every idiot on the road that felt like adjusting their chains figured anywhere was a good place to do it. As such, at times the entire highway was blocked by parked vehicles. And the snow was coming down so fast and hard that the cars started to get buried. If no one is moving, they can't plow the road, so things went from bad to worse pretty quickly.
