Do you fill the chimney or obstruct the snow cave when you leave? I had no idea that you burrowed so deep into the snow.

It was strong enough to ski over / snowshoe on when we left, and the chimney had big snow bricks around it, so we left it as is. It would have been a LOT of work to try to fill in. You never know, someone may have found it and decided to use it. Snow caves rarely collapse, they just slowly sag until there's nothing left.
