So, it was about this time that we decided damn the torpedoes we would do another climb. Joel sorts a pile of messy ropes while I lead the second pitch (we skipped the scary, not well protected first pitch by rappelling directly to the first belay station) of Left Water Streak, probably my favorite climb in all of Yosemite.

Wow, that's some cool imagery I hadn't noticed. Yosemite granite does look incredibly fluid, other-wordly when viewed up close... definitely not like rock. Sort of reminds me of this pic of Half Dome, though in this case the rock feels like an open ocean. http://www.pmjc.org/photos/display_image_detail.php?i=10164
