Joel, starting up Northwest Books. The route roughly follows the left facing corner that sort of looks like a book, and you guessed it, faces roughly northwest. Northwest = nice and shady on a hot sunny September afternoon. Very comfortable and much easier going than exposed southern face climbing deep in the Sierra wilderness.
