Headed back to shore. During the deeper part of my dive I saw sting rays, puffer fish, sea stars, and grouper, among others. So, this scuba trip was sort of a spur-of-the-moment thing, and thus I didn't have my waterproof casing or new flash mom and dad got me for my birthday. And as a result, Mr. Camera seems to be broken now. It almost always tells me the battery door is open, even though it isn't, and now I can see some faint moisture underneath the lens. Improbably everything else works! So, today I mailed it off to L.A. to go see about warranty repair. It's very frustrating as I didn't bring the camera anywhere near 10m... probably no more than 5-6m of depth. Debating whether I should buy another (now discontinued camera) so that I'll have a camera to fit my waterproof case.
