The Tokyo Sky Tree (東京スカイツリ), photographed from near the Asakusa metro stop. Apparently when it is completed it will be over 2,000 feet tall. Apparently right now it's only 500 meters or so.

  • It's a broadcasting tower. Apparently the old one is a mere 1,100 feet tall, and as such it no longer has good line of sight to many parts of Tokyo.
