You'll have to go back in the summer time ... it is a beautiful place .. .and you can take a ferry to Vancouver Island and visit Victoria (bring your passport)

Yeah, Monica and I went backpacking right around here in July/August last year. Absolutely spectacular. Looks pretty in the fall too. I can't believe you made it to Port Angeles in 2 hours... I remember that road being endless.

Maybe it's worse in the summer with more people around and thus more traffic? More "Twilight" fans going to see their favorite spots? It wasn't a short drive, but I thought it was pretty and thus not too bad.

Yeah now I remember the traffic was insane. Especially the bridges. The worst thing about Seattle is probably the traffic. Gotta live in city proper and get a bike if you live there.
