After visiting a prestressing plant in Tacoma, I drove around a bit in an attempt to see... the Tacoma Narrows Bridge(s)! Of course, the famous Galloping Gertie (PS, why is that not spelled Girdy?) no longer exists, but the 1950 replacement (on the right) and the 2007 expansion bridge (left) do. Lots of attractive parts to each, but several things I don't like, too.
