Catherine and Jay, scooping some ice cream. It was really fun to make ice cream in this quantity (4 quarts). I went to Costco and purchased a half gallon of heavy cream and a half gallon of half and half and two dozen eggs. They were all used up, except for maybe a little half and half. And I did mess up the coffee custard so I had to make that twice.
